Gionee has officially slashed the price of Gionee Marathon M5 Plus in India. The smartphone has received a huge price cut of Rs. 5,000 in India. It is now available at Rs. 21,999.
The smartphone was launched in India earlier this year. Gionee Marathon M5 Plus was announced in May for Rs. 26,999. Now its price has been slashed by Rs. 5,000.
Gionee Marathon M5 Plus is now available at Rs. 21,999 in India. The smartphone is available at reduced price on company’s official eShop. The smartphone can also be grabbed at reduced price from offline retail stores.
The Chinese company has already launched its successor, Gionee M6 Plus in China. Looking at the price cut, we think that the new M6 Plus could Indian market soon.
Gionee Marathon M5 Plus sports a 6 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED Display protected with Coring Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.3 GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6753 Processor with 3GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali T-720 GPU.
Gionee Marathon M5 Plus comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus(PDAF). For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
