Last month Gionee started selling Gionee Marathon M5 Plus in India. Now the company has officially launched the smartphone in India. It is launched for Rs. 26,999.
Gionee Marathon M5 Plus sports a 6 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED Display protected with Coring Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.3 GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6753 Processor with 3GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali T-720 GPU.
Gionee Marathon M5 Plus comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus(PDAF). For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C. It packs a 5,020mAh battery with fast charging support. It comes with fingerprint scanner under its home button.
Gionee Marathon M5 Plus runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3.0 UI.
