Gionee has launched the new Gionee Marathon M5 in India. It is launched at Rs. 17,999. As expected, it will be exclusively sold via Flipkart. The Chinese company has upgraded the RAM to 3GB for India.
Gionee Marathon M5 sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) AMOLED Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.3 GHz Quad Core MediaTek MT6735 Processor with 3GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali GPU.
Gionee M5 comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 6,020mAh battery. The company claims that the battery can last upto 62 hours with just 5% battery. The battery is enough to survive upto 4 days.
Gionee Marathon M5 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3.0 UI.
