Gionee has launched a new budget smartphone in India called Gionee P5L. The smartphone with VoLTE is launched in India at Rs. 8,499. It has 1GB RAM and comes in multiple color options.
Gionee Pioneer P5L was first announced in November 2014, but it never made its way into stores. But now after one and half years, the company has finally launched the smartphone in India with much better specs. It is available via official Gionee Store in India.
Gionee P5L features a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS On-Cell Display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad core MediaTek Processor with 1GB RAM. For Graphics, it comes with a Mali T-720 GPU.
Gionee P5L comes with a 8 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 16GB of on-board which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, WLAN, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It comes wih VoLTE support. It packs a 2,300 mAh battery which offers 9 hours of talktime and 300 hours of standby time on 3G Network.
Gionee P5L runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3 UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support. It comes with several pre-installed apps like Child Mode, Gionee Xender, Whatsapp, Facebook, Battery Doctor, Snapdeal, WPS office, 360 Security lite, Clean master, Hungama, TouchPal 2015.
