Gmail Material Design

Google has announced already announced Android 5.0 Lollipop with new Material design and new features. Now Google is updating its apps with new Material design.

The latest app to get Material design treatment is Gmail. Google email Service Gmail is now updated with Material design and comes with new features.

Google on its Gmail Blog says:

As part of the new design, there’s now a convenient reply button at the bottom of every message, making it quick and easy to continue a conversation when you’re on the go. And if you access the app on your Android tablet, you’ll notice it’s easier to switch between accounts and the different inbox categories.

The GMail app for Android now supports email accounts for other email providers. You can now add email accounts such as Yahoo.com, Outlook.com and others using IMAP and POP. The Gmail also support for personalized email accounts using Exchange.

The Gmail app now support Android devices running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and up. The app will be released to Google Play in next few days.
