After about four Months, Google has released first major update for its Android 5.0 Lollipop. Google has unveiled Android 5.1 (Lollipop) update with bug fixes and new features.
Last Month, Google had launched series of Android One devices running on Android 5.1 in Indonesia. Later, Spice has released the Android 5.1 Lollipop update for its Android One device.
Now Google has officially released the new Lollipop update. The update comes with new features like Multiple SIM cards support, Device Protection and High Definition (HD) voice.
With the ability to support to Multiple Sim, devices having dual sim card slot, can be updated to latest iteration of Android. Google has also added support for HD voice calling on supported devices like Google Nexus 6.
Android 5.1 Lollipop also provides enhancements such as the ability to join Wi-Fi networks and control of your paired Bluetooth devices directly from Quick Settings.
The Lollipop update for Nexus devices are now available via Over-The-Air update.
