As expected, HMD Global has launched its first flagship smartphone under Nokia brand called Nokia 8. The smartphone packs high end specifications and is priced at 599 Euros. It will go on sale from next month.
The smartphone comes with dual camera setup. Nokia 8 has a new feature in which you can record from both front and rear cameras simultaneously. The company is calling the new feature as ‘Bothie’.
Nokia 8 sports a 5.3 inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.45GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor with 4GBof RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 540 GPU.
Nokia 8 comes with dual camera setup, it comes with 13 Megapixel primary and 13 Megapixel Mono ZEISS optics rear camera with dual tone LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 13 Megapixel front camera with dual tone LED flash. It comes with 64GB in-built storage, which can be further expanded upto 256GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,090 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 Fast Charging. It comes with Fingerprint sensor under its home button.
Nokia 8 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat, which will be upgraded to Android 8 O. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
