HTC Desire 820sHTC is all set to launch a new variant of its mid ranger Desire 820 called as HTC Desire 820s in India. It was announced in November last year and now it will be launched in India soon.

HTC has started importing several units of HTC Desire 820s in India ahead of its official launch. HTC might launch the device in India soon. HTC had launched the HTC Desire 820 and Desire 820q in India in October last year and now another variant with Octa Core SoC will be launched in India.

HTC Desire 820s Import IndiaAs you can see in the image above, HTC has imported 3,000 units of Desire 820s(D820ts) in India on 19 February. Out of which 625 units are imported from China while remaining units are imported from Taiwan.

The import price of HTC Desire 820s dual sim is between Rs. 15,700 and Rs. 16,343 ($260). The final price of the device will be much higher than this. We expect that the MRP of HTC Desire 820s will around Rs. 23,000.

HTC Desire 820s Dual Sim (d820ts) sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.7 GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6575 Processor with 2 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali T760 GPU.

It comes with a 13 Megapixel BSI Sensor rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 16GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,600mAh battery which gives 12.1 hours of talktime and 560 hours of standby time on 3G network

HTC Desire 820s runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat with a layer of HTC Sense UI. It will be launched in India soon. It will be priced below Rs. 23,000 in India.

Along with Desire 820s, HTC is also planning to launch HTC Desire 826 in India. Earlier this week we have reported that HTC has started importing dummy units of Desire 826. HTC might launch both the devices in India soon.
