HTC launched its mid range smartphone HTC Desire 516 couple of months ago in china. The phone was only launched in China. But now HTC is all set to launch HTC Desire 516 in India soon. The phone will be launched in sub Rs. 10,000 category.
As per the import records obtained, HTC has imported some units of HTC Desire 516w for trade samples. HTC has also imported thousands of dummy units of Desire 516, the dummy units are sent to brick and mortar retail stores which they to show customers. This clearly indicates that HTC Desire 516 launch is imminent.
The import price of HTC Desire 516w is Rs. 5,333, the launch price will be higher than this but it will be launched under Rs. 10,000 category. HTC Desire 516 comes in pearl white and dark gray colors.
As far as specifications are concerned, HTC Desire 516w features a 5 inch qHD display with 540×960 pixel resolution. It runs on 1.2GHz quad core processor with 1GB of RAM. It has 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3 megapixel front camera. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
