HTC has slashed the price of its HTC U Play in India. The smartphone has received a huge price cut in India. It is now available with a price of Rs. 29,990. It was launched earlier this year for Rs. 39,990, its price have been cut by Rs. 10,000.
HTC U Play sports a 5.2 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio P10 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali T860 GPU.
HTC U Play comes with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with Dual Tone LED flash and Optical Image Stabilization(OIS). For selfies, It comes with a 16 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 2TB via MicroSDXC card.
Its connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,500 mAh battery with fast charging support. It comes with fingerprint sensor on its back side.
HTC U Play runs on Android 6 Marshmallow with a layer of HTC Sense UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
