HTC has launched its flagship smartphone called HTC U11. The Taiwanese company announced the latest smartphone at an event in Taiwan. It is launched with a price tag of €749 in Europe. It will be available worldwide from June 2017. It runs on latest high end Snapdragon 835 SoC.
The new smartphone comes with HTC Edge Sensor feature which lets you launch the camera, and send texts. With one squeeze, you can open any app on HTC U11 easily. It comes in 4GB/6GB RAM variants.
HTC U11 sports a 5.5 inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Super LCD 5 Display which is protected with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.45GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor with 4GB/6GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 540 GPU.
HTC U11 comes with a 12 UltraPixel 3 rear camera with dual tone LED flash and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). For selfies, it comes with a 16 Megapixel Front camera with Full HD Video recording. It comes with 64GB/128GB in-built storage, which can be further expanded upto 2TB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery which comes with Quick Charge 3.0. It comes with 3D Audio recording.
HTC U11 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with HTC Sense UI. There is a fingerprint sensor under its home button. It is a Water and dust resistant with IP57 certification.
