Huawei has launched a new smartphone under Honor brand called Huawei Honor 8 in China. The smartphone is powered by company’s own Kirin 950 SoC. It will go on sale from 19 July in China.
Huawei Honor 8 sports a 5.2 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) 2.5D curved Glass Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.3GHz Octa Core HiSilicon Kirin 950 Processor with 3GB/4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Mali T880 MP4 GPU.
Honor 8 comes with 12 Megapixel Dual rear camera with dual-LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB/64GB in-built storage options which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,000 mAh Battery. It comes with fingerprint scanner on its back side.
Huawei Honor 8 runs on Android 6 Marshmallow with a layer of Emoticon EMUI 4.1 UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.

Huawei Honor 8 comes in Pearl White, Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black, Sakura Pink and Sapphire Blue colors. It is priced at 1999 Yuan. It will go on sale in China from 19 July.
