Intex has launched a mini version of Intex Aqua i5 HD which was launched earlier this month for Rs 9,990 in India. The Intex i5 Mini is launched at Rs. 6,850. It has smaller display compared to original Aqua i5 HD.
Intex Aqua i5 Mini features a 4.5 inch FWVGA OGS Display with 854×480 pixel resolution. It runs on 1.3 GHz Quad core MediaTek MT6582 Processor with 1 GB RAM. For Graphics it has Mali 400 GPU. It has 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Intex Aqua i5 mini comes with 8 autofocus rear megapixel with LED Flash. It also has 2 megapixel front camera. It is a dual sim (WCDMA+GSM) device with dual standby support.
Intex Aqua i5 Mini has connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, AGPS/GPS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It has 1,500 mAh battery. It has also has power saving mode which will provide usage time.
Intex Aqua i5 Mini runs on older Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box with a Company customized UI. Intex has said Kitkat update will be released soon. Intex is also offering 5GB cloud storage with Aqua i5 Mini.

Intex Aqua i5 mini is priced at Rs. 6,850. It will compete against Motorola Moto E and Micromax Canvas Unite 2 both of which has 1GB RAM and are priced at Rs. 6,999.
