Lava has launched a new device dubbed as Lava Icon in India. The smartphone is launched in India for Rs. 11,499. The Icon comes with Lava’s own custom built Star OS.
Lava Iris Icon sports a 5 inch HD (720×1020 pixels) IPS Full Lamination ASAHI Dragontrail Glass Display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it comes with a Mali 400 MP2 GPU.
The Lava Icon comes with a 13 Megapixel Sony EXMOR BSI 2 rear camera with dual LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel front camera. It has 16 GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32 GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,500 mAh Battery which provides 17 hours of talktime and 430 hours of standby time.
Lava Iris Icon runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat with a layer of Star OS UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
