Lava has launched a new device in Iris series called as Lava Iris 465. The budget smartphone is launched in India for Rs. 4,499. It comes with 21 Indian language support.
Lava Iris 465 sports a 4.5 inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual core processor with 512 MB of RAM.
It features a 3.2 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. It comes with 4 GB of in-built storage which can be further expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 1,750 mAh battery which gives 8 hours of talktime and 250 hours of standby time on 3G network. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support.
Lava Iris 465 runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box. It comes with 21 Indian languages support which includes Hindi, Bodo, Sanskrit, Nepali, Marathi, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Bengali, Assamese, Maithili, Maniouri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Santali, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam, and Kannada.
