Lava has launched Lava Iris Alfa, its new smartphone in Iris series. It is launched in India for Rs. 6,550 and is available across India. It supports over the air firmware (FOTA) updates.
Lava Iris Alfa features a 5 inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) Full laminated IPS screen. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad core processor with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8 GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Lava Iris Alfa comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
Lava Iris Alfa connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,200 mAh Battery which gives 14.5 hours of talktime on 3G network.
Lava Iris Alfa runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat. It comes with TrueCaller Premium for 6 months and Rs. 2,000 worth of free downloads on Hungama Music app.
