
Lava Iris X8 is successor to Lava Iris X5 which was launched in September last year. It comes with 3 Megapixel front facing camera instead of 5 MP camera found in its predecessor.
Lava Iris X8 sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) Asahi Glass IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa core MediaTek 6592M processor with 2 GB of RAM.
It features a 8 megapixel BSI 3 Sensor rear camera with Dual LED Flash and a 3 megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB of in-built storage which can be further expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,500 mAh battery which gives 9 hours of talktime on 3G network. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support.
Lava Iris X8 runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box. It is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
