As promised, Lenovo launched the Lenovo K6 Note smartphone in India today at an event in New Delhi. Unlike other Lenovo phones, the K6 Note comes will be an offline exclusive phone and will go on sale from December 17 in 15,000 retail stores in India.
To recall, just a few days ago, Lenovo unveiled the K6 Power smartphone in India, and the K6 series was first showcased at the IFA 2016 back in September. The Lenovo K6 Note doesn’t differ much regarding hardware when compared to K6 Power but has some necessary upgrades.

The Lenovo K6 Note comes with the same 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC along with 3GB/4GB RAM. The 3GB of RAM variant along with 32GB of internal storage is priced at Rs. 13,999 and the 4GB of RAM variant with 64GB of internal storage come with a price tag of Rs. 15,499. Furthermore, the storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Camera wise, the Lenovo K6 Power comes with a 16MP sensor on the rear with dual LED flash and PDAF technology. There’s an 8MP sensor on the front to cover up the selfies and video calls. Same as the Lenovo K6 Power, the K6 Note also comes with a 4000mAh battery, which will easily last for two days with moderate usage.
On the software front, the Lenovo K6 Note boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with guaranteed upgrade to Android Nougat shortly. The smartphone will go on sale on December 17 in India from 15,000 offline retail stores from all the major cities.
