Meizu has launched a new smartphone, Meizu MX5 in India. The smartphone will be exclusively sold on Snapdeal. It will be officially launched in India on 26 August.
Meizu MX5 was announced in China last month and now the company is bringing the smartphone in India. It will go on sale from 26 August, it can be pre-ordered from Snapdeal. Its price will be revealed on 26 August itself, but it is expected to be priced around Rs. 17,000.
Meizu MX5 comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IGZO Display at 403ppi. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.2GHz Octa Core Helio X10 MediaTek MT6795T processor with 3GB RAM. For graphic it comes with a PowerVR G6200 GPU.
MX5 features a 20.7 Megapixel Sony Exmor BSI Sensor rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel front shooter with flash. It comes in 16GB and 32GB Internal storage options. It also comes with a MicroSD slot cum sim card slot.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, USB GLONASS, and GPS/A-GPS. It packs a 3,150 mAh battery which comes with mCharge technology. It allows to charge the battery upto 25% in just 10 minutes.
Meizu MX5 runs on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop with a layer of FlyME 4.5 OS. It comes with fingerprint sensor mounted under home button. It has dual 4G micro sim card slots.
