Micromax has started selling its new smartphone, Micromax Canvas Sliver 5. The smartphone was launched in India last month for Rs. 17,999 and now it is available in India.
Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 Q450 is the slimmest smartphone from Micromax. It is 5.1mm thick. The smartphone runs on latest Android Lollipop. Apart from design, the phone doesn’t offer any high end specifications. The phone looks slightly overpriced, but the company is pretty confident about the device.
Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 Q450 features a 4.8 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) AMOLED Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.2 GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB of RAM. For Graphics, It comes with a Adreno 306 GPU.
Canvas Sliver 5 comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB inbuilt storage which cannot be expanded. Out of 16GB storage, only 11.3GB is available to user.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It supports DD-1800/2600/800 Mhz & TDD-2300Mhz bands. It packs a 2,000 mAh battery which offers 344 hours of standby time and 8 hours of talktime.
Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 Q450 runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It is a dual sim (GSM+WCDMA) device with dual standby support.
