Micromax has launched a new smartphone in the canvas series, called Micromax Canvas XL 2 A109. The phone is listed on Micromax website without price tag. It us upgraded version of Micromax Canvas XL A119 which was launched earlier this year.
Micromax Canvas XL 2 A109 features a 5.5 inch qHD IPS Display with 960×540 pixel resolution. It runs on 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589M Processor with 1 GB RAM. For graphics it has Mali 400 GPU.
Micromax Canvas XL 2 A109 comes with 5 megapixel AutoFocus rear camera. It also has 0.3 megapixel front camera. It has 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Micromax Canvas XL 2 A109 has connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It has 2,500 mAh battery which gives 8.5 hrs of talktime and 250 hrs of standby time. It is a dual sim (GSM+WCDMA) device with dual standby support.
Micromax Canvas Knight Cameo A290 runs on latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box. It comes pre-loaded apps like M! Games, M! Skin, M! Insurance, M! Security, M! Live, MAd and Opera Mini, Games (Zombie smasher, Bounce ball, bubble X Slice), Kingsoft, BMS, clean master, Games club, Getit, Hike, Swift key and True Caller.
