Micromax has launched a new selfie smartphone in India called as Micromax Canvas Selfie A255. It is launched in India for Rs. 15,999. As the name suggests, it comes with a bigger 13 Megapixel selfie camera.
Micromax Canvas Selfie A255 features a 4.7 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa core MediaTek MT6592 Processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Mali 400 GPU.
Canvas Selfie features a 13 megapixel Sony Sensor rear camera with AutoFocus and Dual LED Flash. On the front side also, It flaunts a 13 megapixel Sony Sensor front camera with Soft flash. It comes with 16 GB on-board storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,300 mAh battery which gives 8.5 hours of talktime and 198 hours of standby time.
The Selfie smartphone runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat out of the box. It is a dual sim (GSM+WCDMA) device with dual standby support.
