Micromax owned YU brand of smartphones has launched their first smartphone, YU Yureka. It runs on CyanogenMod 11 OS which will get OTA update every month. YU yureka is launched in India for Rs. 8,999.
Micromax YU Yureka will be exclusively sold on Amazon.in from Next month. It comes with 4G LTE support and custom OS. The bootloader of the Yu Yureka will be unlocked and Micromax will also offer warranty to rooted device.
Micromax YU Yureka sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display with a pixel density of 267ppi and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit Octa core(1.5GHz quad core + 1GHz Quad Core) Snapdragon 615 processor with 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.
YU Yureka features a 12 megapixel Sony Exmor R Sensor rear camera with LED Flash and a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB of in-built storage which can be further expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Micromax Yu Yureka connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,500 mAh battery which can provide 7 hours on LTE network and 210 hours of standby time . It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support.
Micromax YU Yureka runs on CyanogenMod 11 based on Android 4.4 Kitkat.
