Motorola has just announced the Second Generation Moto E. The new Moto E (2015) comes with a bigger screen, improved specifications and LTE support. It is launched in US for $149.99. Moto E (2nd Gen) comes in both 3G and 4G variants.
First Generation Moto E was launched in India soon after it was announced. But this time, Motorola has not launched the device in India. There are no details about its Indian launch date and its pricing.
Motorola Moto E (2nd Generation) sports a 4.5 inch qHD (960×540 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.2 GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 410 Processor with 1 GB of RAM. For Graphics it comes with a Adreno 306 GPU.
Moto E (2015) 3G variant is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 200 Processor paired with a Adreno 302 GPU. Rest all specifications remains same.
It comes with a 5 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 0.3 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB on-board storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,390mAh battery which provides 24 hours of mixed usage time. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
