Moto G 3rd Gen XT1550Motorola is working on the third generation Moto G and Moto X smartphones. The company has already revealed that it will hold a launch event on 28 July. Both the smartphones will be unveiled next week.

Ahead of official announcement, the company has stated importing the Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen in India. The smartphone is imported for testing purposes in India.

Several units of Moto G XT1550 have been imported in India last week. Around 190 units of Moto G3 have been imported on 14 July to Bangalore from Hong Kong. The import price of the device is Rs. 15,125., which seems to be very higher compared to its predecessor. But generally the import price of test units are higher than the actual price.

The import listing at Zauba also reveals some other information about the device. The listing confirms that the Moto G 3rd Generations XT1550 will come with 2GB of RAM. It will also come in Black and White colors.

Several images of the Moto G third gen has been already leaked by TechnoBuffallo. The leaked images gives a complete view about the upcoming device. There will a metallic strip on the back side of the device with Moto logo.

Motorola Moto G (2015) will feature a 5 inch HD ( 720×1280 pixels) IPS screen. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core QualComm Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB RAM. For Graphics it has a Adreno 306 GPU.

It comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB on-board storage which can be expanded using MicroSD card. It packs a 2,470mAh battery. Moto G 3rd Gen XT1550 will run on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Moto G3 XT1550 will launched in India on 28th July. It will be priced around Rs. 12,000 in India.
