Motorola has started seeding Android 7 Nougat update for its mid range smartphone, Motorola Moto M. The upgrade is being rolled out via Over the Air update. The device was launched in December in India.

Moto M Android 7 NougatAs you can see in the image above, the Android 7 Nougat update for Motorola Moto M comes with build number XT1663_S356_170621_ROW. It is being rolling out in phases and might take time to reach all devices. You can manually check for update in the settings.

The update also adds Google Duo calling app to the Motorola Moto M. The Lenovo owned company mentions that the update will not erase data, but you can keep a back up for your device before proceeding for update.

Android 7 Nougat update is around 1499 MB in size, so it is recommended that you download the update over Wi-Fi network. As per the build number, the update was released on 21 June 2017.

Moto M comes with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash, Laser Autofocus and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel wide-angle front camera with LED flash. It comes in 32GB/64GB in-built storage options, which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD card.
