HMD Global has launched its flagship smartphone, Nokia 8 in India. The device with top end specifications has been launched with a price tag of Rs. 36,999. It will remain Amazon exclusive and will go on sale from next month.
Nokia 8 sports a 5.3 inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.45GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor with 4GBof RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 540 GPU.
Nokia 8 comes with dual camera setup, it comes with 13 Megapixel primary and 13 Megapixel Mono ZEISS optics rear camera with dual tone LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 13 Megapixel front camera with dual tone LED flash. It comes with 64GB in-built storage, which can be further expanded upto 256GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,090 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 Fast Charging. It comes with Fingerprint sensor under its home button.
Nokia 8 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat, which will be upgraded to Android 8 O. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
