We’ve been hearing about Nokia smartphones in recent times. The Finnish smartphone giant, last week confirmed that they are going to re-enter into the smartphone business in 2017 with Android-powered smartphones. That’s the official information. Days after this news popped out, we have another rum0r which reveals the key specifications of the Nokia flagship phones.

Back in August 2016, a Nokia executive confirmed that the company is planning to launch three to four Android smartphones by the end of this year. His words seem to be true to some extent. A budget Nokia smartphone is also creating waves on the internet and it is dubbed as Nokia D1C.

Speaking about the yesterday’s flagship smartphone leak, this news is coming from the Chinese Weibo, where some unknown person posted an image which revealed the key specifications of the phone. And, these specifications have matched the earlier leaks as well.

According to the Weibo post, Nokia is planning to release two flagship phone with 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch display sizes. These smartphones will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset along with 4GB of RAM. Also, the display on these phone will be of 2K resolution.

In the past, we have seen Nokia phones with Carl Zeiss-certified lens and the upcoming Nokia phones are also said to feature these lens branding. The Nokia smartphones will be of water and dust resistant and feature uni-metal body design. One of the most luring features is that these phones will be preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

The above specifications are about Nokia’s flagship phones. Now, coming to another Nokia mid-range smartphone- the Nokia D1C, it will come with a 5-inch display and features octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset along with 3GB of RAM. There will be a 13MP camera on the rear and an 8MP front-facing shooter. And, this smartphone will also boot Android Nougat out-of-the-box.

So, this is all about the Nokia smartphones, which are scheduled to be released in 2017 and we are expected that Nokia will conduct an event at the MWC 2017 to unveil these phones.
