Obi rechristened to Obi Worldphone in August this year. Now the new company has launched its first smartphone, Obi Worldphone SF1 in India. It is launched at Rs. 11,999. It comes in 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM variant. The 32GB internal storage model is priced at Rs. 13,999.
Obi has partnered with Gadgets 360 to sell its worldphone series of smartphones in India. The Obi Worldphone SF1 will be available in India from 7th December on Gadgets 360.
Obi Worldphone SF1 sports a 5 inch Full HD (1920 X 1080 pixels) IPS In-Cell floating Glass protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.5 GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Processor with 2GB/3GB RAM. For Graphics it has a Adreno 405 GPU.
Worldphone SF1 comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 16 GB and 32GB in-built storage options, which can be expanded upto 64GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It supports both FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE bands. It packs a 3,000 mAh Battery.
Obi Worldphone SF1 runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with a layer of Obi LifeSpeed UI. It comes with Hybrid slot, which can act as Dual sim slot or MicroSD slot.
