OnePlus has announced that it has released the Cyanogen OS 12 update for its OnePlus One. Android Lollipop based CM12s update has been rolled out to OnePlus One devices via OTA update. CM12 is based on Android 5 Lollipop.
Earlier this month, OnePlus has released its own Custom ROM, OxygenOS, for OnePlus One. Now the device has two official options for Android L ROMs.
Cyanogen OS 12 for OnePlus One comes with following new features:

- Enhanced theme chooser
- Ambient display with lift-to-wake
- New lock screen
- Cleaner settings menu
- Multi-user support
- Enhanced A/V support (more codecs, high-res playback, high-res output over USB, low latency capture)
- Power and performance optimizations
- Smart lock
- Improved BT and WiFi compatibility
- Enhanced notification and privacy controls
OnePlus One CM12 OTA (over-the-air) update will be rolled out to users in phases. It should reach all devices soon. The update is also pushed to Indian OnePlus One users.
