Chinese maker OnePlus has finally launched its first flagship smartphone, One. OnePlus has been teasing the device since months and now the device is official. OnePlus has launched the device at very low price with high end specifications.
OnePlus One is launched at $299 off-contract for 16 GB model while 64 GB model is launched at $349. The device will be available from Second quarter in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, the UK and the US. It will be launched in more countries in coming months.
The device runs on custom CyanogenMod 11S which is abased on Android 4.4. The company has worked with CyanogenMod team to release a special version for the device. The device has special customized minimal and flat UI.
OnePlus One has great design, OnePlus has used magnesium material for OnePlus One. The company had tried Stainless steel and Aluminum but that increases weight so comany has used Magnesium. It comes in Sandstone Black and Silk White color options.
OnePlus One features a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS LCD Display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution which has pixel density of 401 ppi. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Processor with 3GB RAM. For graphics it has Adreno 330 GPU.
The OnePlus One comes with 13 megapixel rear camera which has Sony IMX214 sensor with six lenses and f/2.0 aperture. It also has 5 Megapixel front camera.
OnePlus One has connectivity options like 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac , GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB. It has 3,000 mAh battery. It comes in 16BG and 64GB internal memory options, it doesn’t have expandable memory.
OnePlus One runs on CyanogenMod 11S which is abased on Android 4.4.
