Oppo, the Chinese smartphone vendor, is all to unveil their Oppo A57 selfie-centric smartphone in India, next week. Oppo, today officially announced the news on their Twitter handle regarding the phone’s launch as –  “The all new #OPPOA57 is hitting the markets on the 3rd of February. Get ready to become unstoppable. #UnstoppableSelfies”

As expected with Oppo’ smartphone, the Oppo A57 also focuses on the selfie camera space with its 16MP front-facing snapper, same as the one seen on Oppo F1s. That said, the Oppo A57 was previously launched at an event in China, back in November 2016 and the pricing of the phone was 1599 Yuan (approx. Rs. 16,000).

In terms of specifications, the Oppo A57 comes with a 5.2-inch 720p display with a curved 2.5D glass on top of it. At the heart of the phone, we have the 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC aided with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with support for storage expansion via a microSD card slot up to 128GB.

Graphics in the phone is taken care by the Adreno 505 GPU, which is not the best in the business but can get the job done. Aforesaid, the Oppo A57 has a 16MP front-facing shooter, coupled with a 13MP rear-facing snapper. The phone also comes with inbuilt beautification mode to ample up your selfies.

The phone boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based ColorOS 3.0 on top of it and is armed with a 2900mAh battery, which will barely run a day. The phone is expected to be priced at Rs. 15,000.
