Oppo is all geared up to launch their next flagship smartphone- the Oppo R9s on October 19. Ahead of the official launch, the press renders of the smartphone have been leaked online showing a glimpse of how the smartphone looks. That said, the smartphone has been in the news for a quite some time and we have already received the complete specifications of the smartphone. Here are the five top things to know about the upcoming smartphone from Oppo.
1) A 1080p Screen
Going by the leaks till date, the smartphone should sport a 5.5-inch 1080p display with a resolution of 1080*1920 resolution and 401 PPI. Touting as a flagship phone, Oppo should have opted for at least Quad HD display to make it more competitive.
2) Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC
If the rumors are believed to be true, Oppo is planning to integrate the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, which is a bit of a letdown considering the phone as a flagship. There will be the Adreno 510 GPU along with the GPU to handle the graphic intensive tasks.
3) Massive 4GB of RAM
Alongside the mid-range chip, the Chinese vendor is planning to pack massive 4GB of RAM, which will be more than enough for day-to-day tasks and graphic intensive tasks as well.
4) 16MP Cameras on Front and Back
As expected, the smartphone will also be launched as a ‘Selfie Expert’ and Oppo is widely famous for producing the selfie-centric smartphones. The phone might pack 16MP camera on both front and rear, and the sensor will be the Sony’s IMX398.
5) Massive 3,010mAh battery
Oppo might also pack a competitive battery of 3,010mAh in the Oppo R9s, and they are planning to integrate their famous Super VOOC fast charging, and we all know that the same technology has been used in the OnePlus 3 as well.
OPPO R9s will be launched on 19th October.
