Oppo has started sending out media invites for an launch event in India on 28 January. In the invite, the Chinese company teases a selfie-centric smartphone. The company might launch Oppo F1.
Oppo is completing 2 years in India and for this occasion, the company will launch a new smartphone in India. The company is expected to launch new F series of smartphones in India.
Oppo might launch the Oppo A53 as Oppo F1 in India on 28 January. The A53 was announced in China last month and new it is expected to be launched in India with improved specs.
Oppo F1 sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) AMOLED Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 Processor with 3GB of RAM. For Graphics it comes with a Adreno 405 GPU.
F1 comes with a 13 Megapixel Samsung ISOCELL sensor rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB on-board storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
It connectivity options include 4G LTE 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,075 mAh battery which comes with Quick VOOC charging.
Oppo F1 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a layer of Color 2.1 UI. It has hybrid slot which can act as a Dual Sim slot or MicroSD slot.
