Realme was to host its Realme 6 series launch event in India tomorrow. But due to Coronovirus outbreak in the country, Realme has decided to cancel the event and launch the devices via online event.
The company had sold the tickets for Rs. 599 last week to its fans. As the event is now cancelled, Realme will refund the full amount and as a good gesture will also give Realme Band for free.
Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro will now be launched via online event. However the online event will take place at the actual venue and the CEO will give live speech from the ground itself.
Realme CEO Madhav Sheth in a tweet said, “In light of current reports of #coronavirus impact & related advisory by health officials to maintain social distance as a precautionary measure, I’m calling off our biggest event. Will still give live speech in stadium with you watching #realme6series event online. #HealthFirst”
Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro will come with punch hole cameras. They will feature 64Mp Quad rear cameras and will have side mounted fingerprint sensor. We will come to know more about the devices when they launch in the country tomorrow.
