Last month Reliance Jio started its commercial operations in India. The telecom operator announced ‘Jio Welcome Offer’ under which any 4G smartphone in India can get connection.
Now the telecom operator has revealed that it has added 16 Million new users to its network in less than one month. Reliance Jio has added 1.6 Crore new customers in just 26 days.
Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. (Jio) announced that it has created a world record by crossing 16 Million subscribers in its first month of operations (September, 2016). Jio has achieved this growth faster than any other telecom operator or start up in the world including the likes of Facebook, WhatsApp and Skype.

Jio has introduced Aadhaar-based paper-less Jio SIM activation across 3,100 cities and towns. It will be rolled out to other cities and towns in coming weeks.
