Earlier this year Ringing Bells created lots of buzz with its cheapest smartphone, Freedom 251. The company launched its smartphone for Rs. 251 and scheduled the delivery date in June.
Ringing Bells received lots of criticism and several cases were also registered on the company. But now it looks like the company finally plans to deliver the first batch of smartphones.
Ringing Bell has also revealed original photos of Freedom 251. The smartphone looks very different than it was first shown. The company says that it will ship 2 Lakh units from 30 June.
Ringing Bell has also revealed that it will start the second phase of registration for freedom 251 smartphone will start soon. However there is no confirmation about the Rs. 251 mobile smartphone.
Ringing Bell Freedom 251 features a 4 inch qHD(960 x 540 pixels) Display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core Processor with 1GB of RAM. For Graphics, it comes with a Mali GPU.
Freedom 251 comes with a 3.2 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 0.3 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32GB. Its connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, WLAN, USB OTG, and Micro-USB
Freeedom 251 price in India is Rs. 251 and it second phase of registrations will start soon. 2 Lakh units of the smartphone might be delivered after 30 June.
