Samsung has announced a new smartphone under its A series. The South Korean company has launched Samsung Galaxy A22 5G. It is powered by Dimensity 700 SoC and has upto 8GB of RAM. It will go on sale from July.
Galaxy A22 comes with Triple camera setup, it has a 64 Megapixel primary, 5 Megapixel ultra-wide, and 2 Megapixel Depth sensor rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64GB/128GB on-board storage options, which can be further expanded up to 1TB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 5G, 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth and USB Type-C. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging. It has Fingerprint sensor on its side.
Samsung Galaxy A22 runs on Android 11. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
