Samsung Galaxy A22 with Helio G80 SoC, 6GB RAM launched in India for Rs. 18,499

Samsung has announced a new smartphone under its A series in India. The company has launched Samsung Galaxy A22 in India. The device is powered by Helio G80 SoC and has 6GB of RAM. It is launched in India for Rs. 18,499.

Samsung Galaxy A22 features a 6.4 inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) 90Hz Super AMOLED screen. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa Core MediaTek G80 Processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU.

Galaxy A22 comes with Quad camera setup, it has a 48 Megapixel primary, 8 Megapixel ultra-wide, 2 Megapixel Depth sensor and 2 Megapixel Macro sensor rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 13 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 128GB on-board storage, which can be further expanded up to 1TB using MicroSD Card.

Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth and USB Type-C. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging. It has Fingerprint sensor on its back side.

Samsung Galaxy A22 runs on Android 11. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
