Sony has launched three new cyber-shot cameras in India. The company has launched Sony RX10 II, RX 100 IV and Alpha a7R II cameras in India. The price starts at Rs. 69,990.
The cheaper one Sony Cybershot RX100 IV is launched in India at Rs. 69,990 while the RX10 II is launched at Rs. 94,990. Both of these cameras are already available in India. The costliest Sony a7R II is launched in India for Rs. 2,39,990.
The new Sony RX10 II, RX 100 IV feature the world’s first 1.0 type stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor with advanced signal processing and an attached DRAM memory chip. The high speed signal processing and DRAM memory chip work together to enable more than five times the readout rate of image data.
The Sony RX10 II and RX100 IV models are the first Cyber-shot cameras to offer the advantages of 4K (QFHD 3840×2160) movie recording. The former can shoot 4K videos at extended lengths of up to 29 minutes, while the later can shoot 4K clips of up to approximately 5 minutes in length.
The new RX100 IV features a ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T 24-70mm (35mm equivalent) F1.8-F2.8 lens, while the new RX10 II feature a ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T 24-200mm (35mm equivalent) F2.8 lens.
Sony RX100 IV price in India is Rs. 69,990 while the RX10 II price in India is Rs. 94,990.

Sony new α7R II can record movies in 4K quality (QFHD 3840×2160) in either Super 35mm crop mode or full-frame mode. In Super 35mm mode, the camera collects a wealth of information from approximately 1.8x as many pixels as 4K by using full pixel readout without pixel binning.
