Sony has launched new ultra high speed XQD and SD media cards in India. The company has launched card readers supporting XQD and SD formats and also launched XQD USB adaptor.
The new XQD-M series available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities. The ultra high speed cards delivers speed up to 440MB/s (read) and 150MB/s (write).
The new SD cards are UHS-II supported and it helps in quick data transfer to and from a PC with Sony’s new UHS-II supporting card reader. Sony’s new SF-M series is available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities. It delivers transfer speed of up-to 260MB/s (read) and 100MB/s (write).
The new innovative media offerings comes with dust-proof, X-Ray proof, anti-static and magnet proof to protect the most sensitive photo and video content, hence making it extremely reliable and durable. In addition the deleted photos and videos, including RAW images, MOV files and 4K XAVC-S video files can be recovered by using the downloadable File rescue software.
Sony has launched XQD/SD card reader with model number MRW-E90. It supports high speed data transfer from PC to all XQD series and UHS-II SD cards. QDA-SB1 is a USB XQD adapter compatible with the M and G Series XQD cards. The adapter is streamlined to occupy only one USB port, and comes with an extension USB cable.
Sony XQD-M32/J SYM is priced at Rs. 3,500, whlie 64GB is priced at Rs. 6,700 and 128GB is priced at Rs. 14,500. Sony XQD-SB1/J SYM is priced at Rs. 1,490. Sony SF series cards are priced at Rs. 4,795, Rs. 7,215 and Rs. 11,545 for 32GB , 64GB and 128GB storage respectively. All new products are available in India from March.
