Sony has launched new wireless speaker, Sony SRS X99. The premium speaker is launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 49,990. It is available in the country since last week.
Sony SRS X99 provides immersive sound with 154watts. It has seven speakers – two super tweeters, two front tweeters, two mid-range drivers and a single subwoofer. A Subwoofer and dual passive radiators round out the mix delivering precise and powerful low end. The two Super Tweeters extend clarity at the higher frequencies and help create a wide soundstage ideal for Hi-Resolution listening.
Sony SRS X99 comes with support of Hi-Resolutions files like MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, ALAC and DSD. It can be connected to PC or can be used with Pend Drive using its USB slot.
Embedded Wi-Fi allows for accessing iTunes via Airplay or Spotify content via a Wi-Fi network or accessing music files on a DLNA compatible PC or Home Media Server. Bluetooth and NFC (Near Field Communication) connectivity supports easy setup and streaming. It also carries the ability to playback songs in a laptop via a network like DLNA.
The 4.7KG Sony SRS-X99 comes with wireless remote. Users can manage the speakers via Songpal app and can control the speakers from any room. The App is available on PC, iPhone and Android devices.
