Sony has launched a new smartphone in Japan. The company has announced Sony Xperia 8 in Japan. It is powered by Snapdragon 630 SoC and has dual camera setup. Xperia 8 is launched with a price tag of 54,000 Yen.

Sony Xperia 8Sony Xperia 8 features a 6 inch Full HD+ (2560 x 1080 pixels) 21:9 LCD screen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with Adreno 508 GPU.

Xperia 8 comes with dual camera setup, it has a 12 Megapixel primary and 8 Megapixel ultra-wide secondary rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64GB on-board storage, which can be further expanded up to 512GB using MicroSD Card.

Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth and USB Type-C. It packs a 2,760 mAh battery. It comes with In-Display Fingerprint sensor.

Sony Xperia 8 runs on Android 9 Pie. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
