Xiaomi has announced that it will launch its new smartphone Redmi 8 in India on 9 October. The device will come with upto 4GB of RAM. It will come with HD+ screen and could be priced around Rs. 8,000.
Xiaomi Redmi 8 features a 6.26 inch HD+ (720 × 1520 pixels) 199:9 2.5D curved glass Display. It is powered by a 1.95GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439Processor with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 505 GPU.
Redmi 8A comes with a 12 Megapixel primary and 5 Megapixel secondary rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB/64GB on-board storage options which can be further expanded up to 256GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth, Infrared sensor and Micro-USB. It packs a 5,000mAh battery. It has fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Xiaomi Redmi 8 runs on Android 9 Pie based on MIUI. It is dual sim device with dual standby support, it has dedicated dual sim slot.
