Sony has announced a new smartphone, Sony Xperia M5. The smartphone will go on sale from later this month. It comes with Helio X10 SoC and 3GB RAM. It also comes with a huge 13 Megapixel front facing camera.
Sony Xperia M5 features a 5 inch Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS Bravia Engine 2 Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.2 GHz Octa Core MediaTek 6795T Helio X10 processor with 3GB RAM. For Graphics it has PowerVR G6200 GPU.
Xperia M5 features a 21.5 Megapixel Exmor RS IMX230 Sensor rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 13 Megapixel front shooter. It comes with 16GB internal storage with an option to expand its storage upto 128GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, USB GLONASS, and GPS/A-GPS. It packs a 2,600 mAh battery which offers 11 hours of talktime and 656 hours of standby time. There is a dual sim variant too which is called Sony Xperia M5 Dual.
Xperia M5 runs on latest Android 5 Lollipop. It is waterproof and dust proof with IP65/68 protection.
