Sony is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone, Sony Xperia XZ in India. The company will launch the smartphone in India this week. The smartphone was announced this month during IFA Berlin.
The company has scheduled an event in India from 28 – 30 September. We have learned that the Sony Xperia XZ will be launched at the event. It will be priced above Rs. 50K. It is a water resistant device with IP65 and IP68 certification.
Sony Xperia XZ sports a 5.2 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.3GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor with 3GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Adreno 530 GPU.
Xperia XZ comes with a 23 Megapixel Exmos RS Sensor rear camera with Dual LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 13 Megapixel Exmor RS front camera. It comes in 64GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 256GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 2,900 mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging capability. It comes with Fingerprint sensor.
Sony Xperia XZ runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
