Sony has launched its latest flagship smartphone, Sony Xperia XZ. The smartphone is announced during IFA Berlin. It comes with Snapdragon 820 SoC and it also packs 23 MP rear camera.

Sony Xperia XZSony Xperia XZ sports a 5.2 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.3GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor with 3GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Adreno 530 GPU.

Xperia XZ comes with a 23 Megapixel Exmos RS Sensor rear camera with Dual LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 13 Megapixel Exmor RS front camera. It comes in 32GB/64GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 256GB using MicroSD card.

Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 2,900 mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging capability. It comes with Fingerprint sensor.

Sony Xperia XZ runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.

Sony Xperia XZ price is not revealed by the company. It comes in Forest Blue, Mineral Black and Platinum colours. It will go on sale from October in select countries.
