Sony has released latest Android 6 Marshmallow update for multiple devices in India. The update is now available for Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 series of device in India.
Sony Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 tablet gets Android 6 Marshmallow update in India. The update can be installed via PC Companion or Push Notification on the device.
The Marshmallow update brings following changes to Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact, Xperia Z2 smartphone and Z2 Tablet:
- Enhanced privacy settings: Manage and control your application data permissions
- All new camera interface: Switch between modes and customise settings with simple gestures
- Xperia Messaging: Express yourself and get creative with easy in-app access to Stickers
- Direct Share: Share activity with friends, recent contacts and app lists
Along with above new features, Android Marshmallow update for Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 brings many Android Marshmallow features like Doze mode, app permissions and other new improvements.
Sony Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 tablet should get update notification soon. If you didn’t receive the update notification then you can manually check for the updates in the settings.
Earlier Sony released the Developer preview of upcoming Android N for Sony Xperia Z3. And now public version of Android Marshmallow is released.
