Vivo V5 Plus with Dual front cameras announced, launching in India on 23 Jan

Vivo has announced a new smartphone under its V5 series called Vivo V5 Plus. The company has announced the smartphone officially and it will be launched in select counties from next week.

The Chinese company will also launch the smartphone in India next week on Monday. Vivo V5 Plus will be launched in India on 23 Jan. The main USP of the smartphone is its dual front selfie cameras.

Vivo V5 Plus features a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 64-bit 2GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For graphics it comes with a Adreno 506 GPU.

Vivo V5 Plus comes with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. For selfies, It comes with dual camera setup on its front side. It features primary 20 Megapixel Sony IMX376 front camera with Moonlight flash and 8 Megapixel secondary camera for capturing depth information. It comes with 64GB internal storage, which cannot be expanded.

Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,160 mAh battery which comes with fast charging support. It comes with fingerprint scanner under its home button.

Vivo V5 Plus runs on Android 6 Marshmallow with a layer of Funtouch OS 3 UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.

Vivo V5 Plus comes in Gold color. It will be launched in India on 23 January. It will be priced around Rs. 26,000.
