Vivo has launched its flagship smartphone in China called Vivo XPlay5 Elite. It is the first smartphone to feature 6GB of RAM. It will be available in China from 8th March.
Vivo XPlay5 Elite is powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC. The phone comes with dual curved edge screen. The smartphone is priced at 4288Yuan.
Vivo XPlay5 Elite flaunts a 5.43 inch Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) Super AMOLED Display at 541ppi which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a 64-bit 2.1 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor with 6GB of RAM. For graphics it comes with a Adreno 530 GPU.
Vivo XPlay 5 Ultimate Edition comes with a 16 Megapixel Sony IMX298 sensor F2.0 rear camera with LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF). For selfies, It comes with 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 128GB internal storage options, which cannot be expanded.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,600 mAh battery which comes with fast charging support. It has a fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Vivo XPlay5 Elite runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a layer of Funtouch UI.

Vivo XPlay5 Elite price in China is 4288 Yuan ($654). It comes in Champagne Gold and Rose Gold color options. It will ship in China from 16 March. There is no word about its global availability.
